Mark Allen
Sport Trailblazer
No triathlete has gained the recognition or success that Mark Allen has. After competing in several Ironman Triathlon Championships he emerged victorious in 1989. It would be the first of six Ironman victories for Allen, the last coming in 1995 at age 37, making him the oldest champion ever. Over the course of his racing career, which ended in 1996, he maintained a 90% average in top-three finishes. He was named Triathlete of the Year six times by Triathlete magazine, and in 1997 Outside magazine tabbed him The World's Fittest Man. Deacon Klemme
Sport Trailblazer
Deacon Klemme, 31, West St. Paul, Minnesota. 5th grade math and science teacher and high school football coach. Deacon got his first pair of Wigwams when he was in high school. Ever since then, a pair has been in his drawer. The socks have always been comfortable and have held up no matter what he's done--from training and competing to everyday walking. Now, as a coach, he wears Wigwam socks not only for the comfort, but also because they look good and keep his feet warm on those cold nights on the sidelines.

Allison Mayer
Sport Trailblazer
Allison is a self-proclaimed running addict. She started running when some friends invited her to run the Boulder Boulder in 2006...and she hasn't stopped. She has finished a handful of races, from the 5k to the marathon. Allison likes to get her money’s worth when shelling out cash for race fees, so she spends as much time as possible on the race course. She thinnks this is just a nice way of saying she’s a slow runner. :) She says her passion for writing goes back to a time when she could barely prop a pencil in between her chubby fingers…which was around one year ago. Allison is also the author of a blog where she rambles about running, triathlons, and life in general.

Tim Renzelmann

While attempting to qualify for the U.S. Olympic Trials in 1992, Tim ran a personal best marathon of 2:20:39. Three months later he was diagnosed with cancer. The next six years included aggressive treatments, but the disease continued to spread through his chest, abdomen, pelvis and bone marrow. On September 25, 1998, Tim underwent an allogeneic bone marrow transplant. With his brother Terry (also a marathoner) as his marrow donor, the two dubbed the event as "The Tim & Terry MARROW-thon." Tim once thought he was training to participate in the Olympic Trials. He now realizes he was training to participate in his life after the cancer experience.
