How Tough Are Your Wigwams?

Question: How is the durability of Wigwam socks?

Answer: I just wanted to let you know tht after 3 years 9 months of rough and tough outdoor activities daily I wore a hole in the heal of one sock and replaced the pair yesterday. This pair was wore approximately 200 times through the roughest conditions of work and play and I am not exactly small. I still have 6 more pair bought at about the same time and will see how long they last. These were the Hiking/ Outdoor Pro style. I will let people in the outdoor comunity know about them. Thank you for being American made.

Sincerely, Marc Rosson

I'm a bit old fashioned and have been using Wigwam ragg socks for my annual western U.S. backpacking trip(s) since I got my first pair back in 1972. I haven't kept track of how long each pair has lasted me but I don't buy them too often. However, I walk 4 miles round trip every day to work and in the colder weather I always use my ragg socks with the running shoes I walk in. I've noticed that it is more difficult to find the ragg socks these days as the other styles have become more popular, but from the Wigwam website I found out that I can buy the ragg socks at West Bend , WI. They are also carried locally here in Iowa City. I also use them alot around the inside of the house during the winter without slippers. I suppose this wears them out a little faster, but they are so warm and comfy thats what I like. Thank you for striving to stay American in the sourcing and manufacturing of your socks. I will always use Wigwam and encourage my kids to wear them as well. Bob McKay, Iowa City IA
