Blister-Free Pilgrimage

Carolina Blister FreeQuestion: How far can you go in your Wigwams and still have comfortable feet?

Answer: My name is Carolina Abad. A few weeks ago I wrote asking for your advice on blister free socks.

At that time I was training for a 150 mile pilgrimage over the course of 7 days. Well, I am proud to report that I finished all 150 miles and YES!!, WIGWAM socks help me tremendously.

By the time we started the walk I had 20 pairs of WIGWAM socks with me including the recommendations I received from a Wigwam specialist. We were walking nine to eleven hours daily beginning at 2 am. Weather was brutal, .....cold nights and hot days, (we had rain for 2 days). I kept in my backpack an extra pair of socks and would change to a fresh pair every 5 hours.

It was a total of 856 women from my community, but they were other women from different communities, we arrive on the 7th day at 4:30 in the morning after walking thru the night, a the end we had 9029 women.

There is no doubt WIGWAM socks are the best. I will always be grateful for your advice and samples.

Thank you again.
