Ken Lucas
Snowsport Trailblazer
Ken came out of the woods on his telemark skis and competed on the Telemark World Cup with the US Ski Team. From there he moved into the big mountain free-ski competitions where he made it to the podium in a few events while riding his telemark skis against the alpine skiers. Never one to stand still, he started www.snowaffair.com , where he tours around the country putting on telemark ski clinics, snowkiting rallies, and backcountry adventures. His snowkiting adventures have brought him to Pakistan, Iceland, and Alaska. Ken holds the current world speed record for telemark skiing - 105 mph. He has been in top 3 in over 100 competitions and has numerous first descents on 3 continents. Major media cover his exploits. When he is not in the mountains he enjoys kitesurfing in The Columbia River Gorge near his home and working as an Environmental Engineer.

Jessica Sobolowski-Quinn was born in Simbury CT. She grew up ski racing and continued in college where she raced NCAA DI. After college, she drove out West seeking bigger mountains. She found her home at Squaw Valley USA in Lake Tahoe, CA. After doing well in numerous skier crosses and winning the Red Bull Utlra Cross, she obtained her "A" list of sponsors. 8 years later, she is known as one of the "top 5 women skiers in the world" by Freeskier Magazine. She has been in over a dozen ski films, ranging from 5 Warren Miller movies to the Weather Channel Epic Conditions. Jessica has also been published in every ski magazine to date with numerous ads and editorials. She and her husband, Kevin Quinn also run and own Points North Heli-Adventures, www.alaskaheliski.com, which is a heli ski operation out of Cordova, Alaska. She spends her time in Alaska being a heli ski guide, running women’s camps "Alaskan Ladies", helping run the operation and filming for Warren Miller and Rage Films. When Jessica is not on the hill, she love spending time with friends either mountain biking, trail running, etc and hanging out with Kevin and their 2 Akitas. She feels very fortunate to have so many amazing companies support her and is living the life she has dreamed of!
