Relaxing, reading a book and time in the sun are typical activities you might enjoy during your summer vacation, but have you ever wondered what extreme, adventure athletes like to do? We asked four of our Ambassadors to shed some light on where they head for a mid-summer adrenaline rush.
“My favorite spot is Canmore, Alberta, Canada. You can jump off old railway bridges into the river, raft some rapids, hike mountains, downhill bike more mountains, and ride dirt bikes all day long.”
“Every year I take a trip to Tensleep, Wyoming. [It has] one of my favorite caves to climb in, which always sets me up for a good ol' adrenaline rush. This cave, it's massive, overwhelming, a little scary, and so much fun.”
“Greece is one of my favorite places in the world for adventure and history. The country is about the geographic size of Alabama, is 80% mountainous and has over 1,200 islands. You can go cliff diving, hiking, sail the Aegean Sea, learn about Greek Gods and eat some of the best food in the world.”
“The action-sports mecca of Hood River, Oregon provides a plethora of adrenaline activities and on long summer days, you can fit a couple in. I love starting off on Mt. Hood for exciting summer skiing then following the melting snow down to the Columbia River for high-wind kite surfing!”
Tell us where you go to chase a summer adventure!
