Payge McMahon is a high-energy adventure athlete, journalist, international yoga instructor and role model for post injury active living. She travels the world inspiring others to get outdoors, try new things and start checking off that bucket list.
Payge has been featured on ESPN, magazine covers, product catalogs and writes for National Geographic Adventure, Women's Adventure, Competitor and Self Reliance Illustrated. As an expert in outdoor gear, apparel, travel, and yoga; she is a sought after speaker and workshop instructor.
As a teenager, Payge was in a horrific car accident that left her with a broken back and in a body cast. She learned how to walk again and has not let the chronic pain from her injury control her life.
Payge has climbed in the Himalaya, summited the highest mountains in Africa, Japan and the continental United States, cycled through Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam, dogsled in Alaska, backpacked across Northern Spain, the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu and California’s 221-mile John Muir Trail. She has competed in 250km self-supported ultra stages races from Iceland to North America, trekked through the deserts of Egypt and Jordan, the Amazon Rainforest, across Costa Rica and the list goes on!
